Mosaic of Threaded Self

In “Mosaic of Threaded Self”, Adeline Thng unravels the layers of human complexity by encapsulating the essence of emotions, memories, and experiences within each aluminium shape. Often perceived as simple beings, individuals are, in reality, intricately complex. Each aluminium piece, meticulously interconnected through threads and bolts, symbolises the interwoven tapestry of our emotions, memories, and experiences. Just as the threads intricately bind the aluminium shapes, our lives are entwined with the fundamental elements that define us. Whether simple or complex, these components form the very fabric of our existence, weaving together a narrative that is unique to each individual. “Mosaic of Threaded Self” invites viewers to contemplate the depth within simplicity and the intricate beauty of our shared human experience, emphasising the essential role played by emotions, memories, and experiences in shaping our individual and collective identities.
