a glimpse into my heart and soul

In Proverb 27:19, it reads:

As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.

In this installation, Adeline explores the idea that a person's inner self is reflected in their actions and experiences, while mirrors can only show us what we look like on the outside. The artwork highlights the fragility of the human heart and soul, and the challenges that people face in their daily lives. While mirrors are reliable reflectors of our physical appearance, they cannot evaluate our spiritual growth or reveal our innermost thoughts. The installation prompts viewers to consider the limitations of our external appearance and the importance of cultivating inner strength and resilience.

through the many alarms, I’m dead
